Public Data
Our organization was established by our local community members in July of 2011, soon after the previous organization, Targhee Animal Shelter, had shut down.
Our concerned citizens banded together to reopen the facility. We feel very strongly about making the shelter a community project and welcome everyone to become involved. Due to our communities hard work and dedication the shelter has successfully placed thousands of animals into their forever homes.
Teton Valley Community Animal Shelter rescues and takes in stray and surrendered animals, brought in by community members. We work with many overcrowded and kill shelters across the country to give the animals a second chance. Our main focus is to permanently re-home our animals to ensure a happy and full life.
